Plant loss from or precious collection of roses had been a significant problem for a number of years. Finding Mauby All Natural, has given us the natural alternative for creating healthier soil conditions the plants need. Natural soil enhancement provides conditions we believe are better for our plants and community.
-Kathy Muller, Former Executive Director or Friends of Guadalupe River Park and Gardens
Mauby All Natural began working in the Heritage Rose Garden late in 2006. The garden had been suffering from major plant losses over the course of a season. Some years, close to 1,000 rose plants were lost. Mauby All Natural performed detailed soil analysis and put together a soil restoration and maintenance plant to bring the roses back to health. As of Spring in Guadalupe in April of 2009, the roses are doing much better. Some plants are lost during a year, but not in the numbers before the soil restoration project began. No fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are used in the garden. There are still a few plant health issues being worked on, but overall, the garden is in great shape and a beautiful place to visit. Stop by and see some of our work in action.
